The guide is primarily for combat power (CP) and player vs player. (PvP)
Appgamerz.com i making the biggest gameguide for L2R regarding tips and information to enhance your combat power and PvP play. The leader of TellaHerus and admin on Appgamerz.com, BiarHeru/BunnyHunter made a Bishop and within 2 weeks was among the top 3 with over 500 000 CP.
First let me say this, did we use diamonds? Sure we did but i want to be clear that the gameguide will be divided for dias-users and “normal” player. So what we write will be relevant regardless, just a matter of how fast and how high.
The guide is a ongoing project that updates constantly. Also we will gladly accept relevant tips from you.
To give a taste of the quality of the content let us make an example. HP drain can be read all over different game guides to be the “best” substat. For PVE HP drain is a good substat, even top 3 perhaps but for combat PvP it is useless. Still you see “top” players with HP drain on their PvP outfits… Why? In the guide we explain this further and much much more.

Below the combat game guide is in a user friendly format that is easy to navigate. Remember that it is a work in progress so it is by no means complete and a already written section will also update when needed.
FIRST - WHAT IS COMBAT POWER - CP, EXCEPT VERY MISUNDERSTOOD?
First we need to learn the widely misunderstood function of combat power CP.
This game is not like Legacy of Discord where 2 people on autofight 100% of times wins by the one with higher CP.
If you gonna spend 1 minute reading, then read this:
- Lets say person 1 has 450 000 CP and person 2 has 350 000 CP, and i ask you: Who is the strongest?
Well the only thing i can say is that if you play all aspects of the game player 1 have a higher chance doing more things better.
You se in the value Combat Power (CP) EVERYTHING COUNTS. Yes that is the thing: Even your 2 extra mounts and their equipment, the multiple of skills thats useless (or less useful) for some classes also counts and as a equal value that it does for a class that actually use that skillset.
In PVP COMBAT EVERYTHING DO NOT COUNT. The CP that comes comes from your extra mounts, and all the skills you seldom use with ur class etc. is not in play in a PvP situation.
To this come another factor; all the hundreds different situation that occurs in a battle or in a given situation where two (2) or more players are involved with their unque playstile and their unique skills. And to round this up we have another factor, luck our circumstances.
All those factors sets the outcome.
Looking at a players CP only gives you a very limited information on how a PVP match would end up between that person and .. maybe yourself.
A second very important thing to remember is the skills. For some classes, lets say a swordsinger, that class relies on Melee, the hitting in itself is the primary way to win a 1vs1. That persons weapon give high CP points compared to say a Bishops who do not rely on hitting as a primary way to win but instead the primary “weapon” is the healing skill combined with knock downs, wich hardly shows on the total CP. Even if i have high level healing strike and the Bishops ground healing skill combined with my double knockdown that do sot show in the CP but a fraction of its real combat value. For the CP to be a way to compare combat power then the skills should have to be meassured in relevance to their importance / power to win a 1vs 1, but it is not.
So as for a meassure of PvP Combat Power the CP it is indicative at most. If both player are PvP then the CP is a valuable indicator at most, but even then you still have all the factors hanging, the skills you invested and how you use them in your playstyle, your utilisation.
So a high CP player with PVE base on say his 350 000 CP fights a PVP player with 250 000 CP, hardcore towards his playstyle and to make damage to other and take less. Well the second players Surely will win.
Also i want to stress that above said about the relation to CP gets less true the higher you get in your completion regarding codex, skills, runes, elixir and more. Why? Because when Two(2) players both are “maxed out” regarding those achievements they are more neutral in the relation to each other so to speak. In the comparison of two (2) players that are say half done the underlying achievement that makes up the total CP therefor matters because it vary and be or less important for a PvP situation.
The guide is constructed with the use of main subjects. Each main subject then have sub subjects. For example, a main subject can be Enhance your equipment and the sub subjects could then be weapon, armor and accessory.
Within each subject, main or sub, there will be cross references to other sections where needed for easy navigation.

Note: This is true until all on the server have maxed out their mostercodex because att that point there is no difference ability wise so to speak.
